Some more writing discovered on a Southwest Airlines napkin during an office cleanse:

It’s the habits that hinder me
The gravel underfoot
The empty rattle of an empty battle
One set of fingerprints

An inauspicious start
Chewed up earth from a dragging foot
My malicious heart
Carries used up hurt from a self put first

I found this small refrain written down on an old piece of paper in my office and thought it was cool:

Double the time
Triple the fine
Cripple the rhyme
A little behind
Skipping the line
Sinister mind
Found a four leaf clover

Follow the crowd
Wonder aloud
Thunderous cloud
Summer of proud
Under the bow
Hunter of how
You got doubled over

Hey, I left you in my wake
And hard work don’t grow on trees
What do I get with friends like these?
One step forward, ten back
Energy retreats while the enemy attacks
And the couplet’s contrived
I remix the mix of a lie on the fly
